Demand Planner

Role Summary:

The Demand Planner will be responsible for understanding the different markets we operate in and support the overall demand process.

How you can contribute:
Manage replenishment for the different markets
  • Understand the replenishment approach of each province ROSE operates in.
  • Lead replenishment initiatives with each province to ensure appropriate stock.
  • Evaluate stock at the SKU level to provide ongoing recommendation to the demand and supply team.
Maintain the demand plan
  • Review demand at the SKU level on a weekly basis based on the latest actuals and market trends identified.
  • Consolidate week over week demand plan changes from customer planners and identify demand plan gaps versus the customer’s sales forecast.
  • Become an expert with the ROSE ERP to effectively translate the demand plan in the system.
  • Collaborate closely with our supply planner to understand potential supply constraints.
  • Identify creative solutions to maximize demand and sales.
  • Identify and quantify risks and opportunities and reflect them in the forecast.
  • Participate in weekly and monthly customers’ meetings as well as internal demand and supply meetings.
Collaborate with partners (provincial boards, supply partners)
  • Engage with our various partners (internal and external) on a weekly basis to discuss latest estimate, gaps, risks, and opportunities.
  • Act as the customers main point of contact for all replenishment, returns, and demand related communication.
You’re really good at:
  • Identifying and assessing issues and opportunities and presenting solutions.
  • Paying attention to details while handling fluctuating workloads simultaneously.
  • Influencing and motivating both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills, with fluency in French and English.
  • High proficiency with Excel.
Things we hope you have:
  • University Degree in business-related field with proven experience in business analytics.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in CPG or similar industry with clear experience in demand planning.
  • Demonstrated experience in relationship management.
  • In-depth knowledge of market analysis and metrics.
  • Hands on experience in creating reporting.
  • Strong financial literacy and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Cannabis industry experience a strong asset.
  • Power BI knowledge an asset.
