Maintenance Supervisor, DDC Operator

Role Summary:

Reporting to the General Manager, the DDC Operator/Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for all Preventative and Corrective maintenance tasks as well as all control sequence tasks requested by the various departments in the facility.

How you can contribute:
  • Accurately documenting all tasks and work including opening and closing of eMaint Work Orders and Work Requests.
  • Responsible for managing the Preventative Maintenance schedule including the dispatching and monitoring of 3rd party contractors.
  • Perform PMs and repairs as required, Document tasks as accurately and timely as possible.
  • Operating and maintaining DDC Software including both Wectrl and Damatex.
  • Operating and resetting circuit breakers.
  • Initial diagnosis of environmental controls and room conditions.
  • Accurately assess and troubleshoot problems in the various automation systems throughout the facility.
  • Contacts the Manager or 3rd party expert to further assess trouble scenario when system in alarm.
  • During an emergency event, or power outage, complete and document the various procedures as per SOPs.
  • Ability to take calls from the various departments in the facility and take appropriate DDC action to complete requests for environmental changes, phase changes, or any other system request.
  • Work between all the group in the facility to ensure environments, systems, and equipment are meeting the operational needs of the teams.

  • Proven ability to work well under pressure with a strong attention to detail.
  • Must be organized and able to document all work.
Things we hope you have:
  • Post-secondary CEGEP/vocational or technical training an asset.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years related experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with DDC, DCS, BAS, or BMS process control software would be an asset.
  • Knowledge and experience using a CMMS required.
  • Basic understanding of HVAC systems.
  • Proven ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Applications is required.
  • Must have the ability to obtain A/RPIC status as per Health Canada ACMPR regulations
