Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented accounts payable and accounts receivable analyst to perform and coordinate accounting functions within our organization. The accounting clerk is responsible for various financial processes and needs, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, corporate cards, account reconciliations, and Ad-Hoc accounting tasks, as assigned. This individual will be part of a dedicated and passionate group of people.

How you can contribute:
  • Prepare monthly bank and credit card account reconciliations with appropriate supporting documentation and reconcile/investigate variances to general ledger
  • Assist with the management of inter-company payable/receivable balances arising from related party transactions
  • Participate in various ad-hoc projects with cross-functional teams
  • Develop and maintain excellent business relationships with other departments
  • Support controller with monthly financial reporting and annual audit
  • Manage accounts receivable correspondence and inquiries with customers
  • Review post and process all customer payments and reconcile customer accounts
  • Process payables, payment runs
You’re really good at:
  • Recognized as being highly collaborative and a strong communicator in English and French

  • Regarded as highly adaptable, agile and calm/poised when faced with change and/or ambiguity
  • Respected for maintaining discretion and confidentiality in all interactions, especially with sensitive matters
  • Self-starter, attention to detail
  • Strong initiative and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize
  • Quick learner and independent
  • Can work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
Things we hope you have:
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience required
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English; Bilingual an asset)
  • Experience in ERP environment
