Business Intelligence Analyst
As the Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be at the forefront of our mission to revolutionize the cannabis industry through the power of data-driven insights. You will be pivotal in advancing ROSE's reporting and operational tools, making significant contributions to our ongoing growth trajectory. With ambitious 2024 data goals, you will play a key role in enhancing our data architecture through the development of a robust SQL database. Your expertise will extend to crafting dynamic dashboards and optimizing existing processes, making the Business Intelligence role an exciting challenge you are poised to embrace.
Designing Impactful Dashboards:
- Develop PowerBI dashboards to monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) crucial to our success.
Maintaining Reporting Excellence:
- Update and maintain ~15 dashboards on a weekly and monthly basis utilized by over 30 internal and external stakeholders.
Sales Execution Reporting:
- Take ownership of the sales execution reporting, demonstrating accountability and precision in reporting methodologies. Identify areas where reporting can enhance and support the efforts of our on the ground sales team.
SQL Database Development and Maintenance:
- Play a key role in building and maintaining our SQL database, crafting tables and views aligned with business requirements.
Streamlining External Partnerships:
- Lead communication with third-party data providers, ensuring data cleaning and optimal structure for seamless collaboration.
Optimizing Operational Processes:
- Drive process optimization by mapping and documenting workflows, enhancing efficiency across the organization.
Data Integration Expertise:
- Collaborate with consultants to develop Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, seamlessly integrating diverse data sources.
- Conduct comprehensive training sessions to facilitate seamless user adoption of our developed tools. Serving as the go-to-expert for usability-related inquiries and ensuring users are equipped for success in their tool utilization journey
- Proven experience in developing PowerBI dashboards and maintaining SQL databases. Need strong proficiencies with Power Query.
- Familiarity with sales reporting.
- Able to work independently and be proactive.
- Paying attention to details while handling fluctuating workloads simultaneously.
- Advanced ability to integrate multiple data sources is a strong asset.
- Ability to lead the design of analytical investigations on large data sets.
- ETL experience a strong asset.
- University Degree in a business-related field with a minimum of 3 years in an similar role.
- CPG or Cannabis industry experience is a strong asset.
- A mindset that’s ready to learn and improve every week.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
