Role summary:

Within the logistics team and in collaboration with various people within other departments, your role is to monitor and advance our distribution objectives and relations with our service providers and suppliers. The goal: to achieve our growth objectives and above all to participate in the development of our Logistics department!

How can you contribute:
  • Liaise between demand planning team, transportation providers on customer cases to resolve any shipping, ordering, and/or inquiry issues and find the best solutions for all
  • Enter and ensure the transmission of orders and modifications via the computer interface, as well as validation
  • Work and follow up with suppliers to determine estimated shipping times and dates and communicate to stakeholders
  • Ensure that the marketing team, sales team, and logistics partners have a fast response time
  • Set up and monitor internal communication on receipt of goods
  • Perform billing and payment follow-ups with suppliers as needed
  • Participate in the development of our address book of transport providers
  • Process and coordinate complaints
  • Coordinate the shipping of orders and daily tasks related to the logistics department
  • Provide feedback to the Supply Chain Manager and Logistics Manager for continuous improvement and help increase the efficiency and productivity of the transport team (suggest process improvements, update SOP’s, etc.)
  • Create all shipping documents and support the organization with service information
  • Participate in special projects, such as time analysis and cost optimization, for product launches in new provinces
  • Perform other tasks as requested

Things we hope you have:
  • A post-secondary degree or bachelor's degree, or equivalent, concentration in transportation logistics, operations or similar as an asset
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in logistics/transport operations, customer service
  • Experience in creating documentation for logistics and transport
  • Comfortable with technology and tools: WMS, TMS, ERP, as well as a solid knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software (Excel)
  • Knowledge of SAP, AS400, Acumatica tools
  • Experience in the IT field
  • MacGyver was your favorite series
